Fundraiser for Burma, this Tuesday night!
This Tuesday night we are playing at a special fundraiser show at Wendouree Performing Arts Centre. All proceeds go to raising money for Burma. This has been organised by the local high schools so theres a host of bands playing from all the schools.... and then us old blokes. 6-10pm Tuesday August 26 $12 entry.
What's all this pop?
If you were at Karova last weekend you will have noticed the inclusion of a few upbeat pop numbers. We are currently rehearsing more of these poppy songs so we can get you off your seats and onto the dance floor. Hopefully before too long we'll be able to do 2 sets. 1 heart melting mellow tunes and the other tail shakin acoustic pop. Cheers
Karova Lounge show was rad!
Hey thanks to everyone who came down to Karova last Saturday night. For a cold wet saturday the numbers were encouraging. Thanks to Xs &Os for having us there show. Cam Ross also did a fabulous job opening for the night.
New live video!

A big weekend for the stereo
Thats right, i finally get a chance to show off the new band. With the usuals Dave, Vin and Dan and the new kid on the on the block playing the right stuff Camo. Camo, Dave and I played in a previous band so he's not new to me, just new to my music. Friday night we kick off with a big show at Karova lounge. We are the meat in the Underminers Duo and Epicure sandwich. Should be a rockin night at Karova, going till all hours of the morning. Door open at 9pm.
Saturday night is a mini festival here in Sunny Ballarat. Lemon Tree Rock II takes over Peter Laylor's Stables with a massive lineup of 6 solo and 4 bands kicking off at 2pm. We are on last so come along and have a chilled out day. Pub meals are available too so be early to catch the solo guys and hang around till the end.
Catch you at 1 or both shows. Cheers. Paul

Today is the day! The debut CD is released nationally today through Green Media (MGM). This will include some of the major CD stores including JB HiFi, Sanity, Leading Edge, HMV as well as online at Waterfront Music and iTunes. Head on down and pick yourself up a copy, and if they don't have it in, get them or order it.
Got a leg-up? Unearth me!
Well as with all Australian bands who need a leg-up, i am on Triple J unearthed website. We had some exposure late last year with 2 appearances on Unearthed Tv as well as feature song for a week, and being added to an unearthed PODCAST, but all has gone quiet. We are not going to create new accounts to fake our way back up the ranks, so we need your help. CLICK HERE and listen, download, vote and review all my tracks. Cheers.
Sick and Tired Film clip.
We have just shot a film clip for our first single "Sick and Tired" with local photographer Terry Hope. It was a full day shooting at local historic B&B Neider Weisel and it was great fun. We took over the place with music and photographic gear everywhere, Terry taking advantage of the grandeur and beauty of the B&B. As soon as we have it in our hot little hands, we'll post it here for you to see.
Deb and Paul play with Simeon
Old pal Simeon is heading to sunny Ballarat to release his new CD. So Goodbye Stereo duo style will be warming the ears and hearts of the people with some nice songs. Deb is joining Paul for a live duo performance. The show is on May 31 at 7.30. Go to the live music page for full details.
New band line up all dandy
We'll after a few line up changes, and some false starts Goodbye Stereo has a live band who is set to impress. The latest addition is old band mate Adam Cameron who will fill the electric guitar and vocal boots. Dave Clark on drums and vocals, Vin on bass and Dan on Keys. I'll still do my best at the singing strumming and song writing. Paul
